• My husband and I were fortunate enough to have won two tickets to a Petition Beer Gustatation Course with Mountain Goat Beer
• Dates these days with my husband is very far and few between
• Plus these tickets were won through Facebook
• Our first dish was a buffalo ricotta wasabi with davidson plum
• It was also served with a salted pretzel which was the perfect tool for scooping up the delicious buffalo cheese
• Accompanying this dish was a Pale Ale (5.2%)
• The following dish was a Fried Oyster Po' Boy
• My husband was quite the fan of this one and ended up eating mine
• Served with this meal was the Yuzu Your Illusion II (Gose 4.0%)
• Was the smoked lamb with a smoked tomato vinaigrette
• That vinaigrette was probably the best thing my tongue has tasted for a long time
• This was served with Holy Smoke (6.0%)
• Duck and pork eds with cavalo nero
• The flavour and texture was extraordinary
• Even though I was getting full I kept going back for more
• Accompanying this meal was the Bubble and Squeak (6.0%)
• A dish which was both savoury yet sweet was a potatoe mille feuulle
• This was served with a Balgerian Blonde (7.0%)
• This desert was definitely taking punches
• Although it was quite overpowering
• This was served with three stouts
• Yet still did not wake up with a hangover
• Ate at Petition last night and it was absolutely amazing
• That’s ok they are doing the right thing Keeping everyone distant
• Nooooooo that was not the case
