**NOTE: the cafe came to its organic closure in 2012 and so is now shut down*** This cafe runs on Gift economy. there are no prices on the menu. All the food that guests enjoy has been paid for by someone else, a previous guest. we're often asked if there is any procedure for memberships. absolutely not. we're like a normal cafe, where any one can walk-in and order a cup of coffee or sandwiches. At the end of the meal, each guest in-turn has the opportunity to complete the circle of giving. Guests, instead of receiving a bill with an amount due, are presented with an empty envelope and if they choose to, can leave in that envelope whatever they wish to pay for a future guest'smeal. explore the sublime art of hanging out! open 3pm onwards (winter timings)... digest yourself. have a chai.
