One sip of the Iron Buddha Tea and Dr. Rupali Ambegaonkar had fallen in love. She was amazed at the positive effect it had on her health and so her quest for understanding tea began. As she delved deeper into the study of tea, she discovered the cultural significance it had in different parts of the world. It was simply beautiful. And she decided to share it with the world through Tea Culture of the World. Dr. Rupali is one of the few certified tea sommeliers in India. After her formal education in teas, she lived on a tea estate in China to learn the ancient secrets of blending and brewing the perfect cup of tea. Her knowledge of medicine and passion for teas helps her create extraordinary brews that are delicious to drink and are packed with health benefits. Her work has been recognized by Indian Institute of Plantation Management, Bangalore (part of IIM Bangalore), where she'sa visiting faculty who conducts regular lectures.
