Golder Ranch Fire District The Golder Ranch Fire District is extremely grateful for the outpouring of community support for firefighters currently fighting the Wildland fires. The National Forest Service is managing this incident. There are no needs at this time for food or drink. The Wildland teams are being well taken care of. If you feel compelled to donate to a cause, you can donate to the Wildland Firefighters Foundation. Additionally, bottled water is always a welcome resource. You can drop off water at GRFD fire stations. We are humbled by the kindness of the community we serve. @orovalleypd

Goodness and charity overflows in our Tucson Community! Many of you may have seen or heard of the fires we currently have blazing in the Catalinas and the Tortolitas. Several of our community members have tried to mobilize and feed those valued members of the community responsible for fighting the fires and those who are supporting their efforts through traffic control. You are amazing and thank you! After some research and phone calls we were informed that those working so hard are currently being fed and the items that will help most are a bit more specific. We have attached a post from the Golder Ranch Fire Department explaining a bit more about those needs. https://www.facebook.com/249824415058191/photos/a.439104336130197/4181247881915805/?type=3 However, in an effort to help in the way we know best..... We have set up an account at our Oracle and Magee location. This account will serve as a "food fund holding tank" if you will, for those involved in the organizations responsible for the firefighting efforts. Starting Monday (June 8) through Friday (June 12th), if you would like to donate to this fund, please call (520-297-3993) or stop in to our Oracle and Magee location and let the management know you would like to contribute money to the fund. We will keep in contact with those organizations who are fighting the fires and when these blessed souls come down safely from the mountain we will be ready and willing to fill their tummies with some yummy Mama's pizza.
