In addition to live shucking for private events, we now offer freshly shucked oysters and clams delivered locally for those who want to add a little something special to their holiday feasting. When I shuck oysters for people, I hope they can tell why I do what I do. I hope they can see the long days, the frustration, the rewards, the excitement, and the beauty of it all. I hope they can taste all the little things that make these oysters just that much more special - if it’s not the freshness that sets them apart, maybe it’s the story behind them that imparts a little something extra. These pretty little babies have been sitting dormant all winter and will spring back to life in just a few weeks! Warming waters bring a buffet of delicious plankton, and these oysters from last year will start eating again and grow like crazy. They’ll be ready for your plate after one more growing season! ~~

Last summer was our first season in business and it was epic, to say the least. While the outlook for this summer is bleak, remembering that the PO crew can handle anything keeps us hopeful for the future. ~~ Stay home, stay healthy, stay hopeful ? ~~
